Every Sunday we gather at The Well at 10am & 7pm Onsite at The Well on Ecclesall Road to offer thanks and praise to God in the form of music and singing and listen to a short talk together. Here's what to expect:
HEY YOU!
You’ll be greeted by the ’welcome team’ on the door, who will be wearing a ‘Well’ T-shirt - they’ll help you connect with others if it’s your first time here.
cafe time
The cafe is open for free drinks for 30 minutes before each Sunday gathering. This is a great way to meet & chat with others.
WELCOME
Most gatherings will start with a greeting and possibly some notices about things that are happening at The Well in the coming weeks (there’s lots you can get involved in!).
PRAISE & WORSHIP
We usually enter a time of music and singing, which is our way of giving thanks to God. You can do what ever feels right for you in this time. You can stand and singalong, sit and watch, lie down, kneel, or dance. The music will be led by a ‘worship leader’ who will help to guide everyone. This time of praise is normally 20-30 minutes in length.
kids groups
At the Sunday morning gathering we provide tailer-made groups for children of all ages. There’s also always toddler toys in a dedicated space where parents can feel free to be. For Safeguarding purposes you’ll be asked to register kids (this can be done from 9:30am until 10:15am).
TALK AND DISCUSS
Following a time of worship, we’ll listen to a short talk. This will be based upon Biblical scripture and will often include insights and interpretation from the person who’s bringing the talk. This is usually about 30 minutes in length.
RESPONSE
We’ll have more music or a time of ‘response’ to the talk. You can ask to receive prayer in this time if you wish. This simply means telling someone what you’d like God to help you with and they'll speak to God with you.
