WELLBEING COURSES @THE WELL
Restored Lives | Monday 28 September for 8 weeks
Taking this step is no small feat, and we really hope the course will be a helpful part of your journey.
The first course will be the Restored Lives online course, run through The Well. The course was developed out of Holy Trinity Brompton (the same church that founded Alpha) and has been running for over 25 years. It was created by a judge who worked in the family law courts alongside someone who had experienced divorce themselves. Feedback from those who have attended the course has been very positive.
If you would like to attend, please complete the form below and then follow the course link. The course website provides further information about the structure and content of the sessions, as well as details of the costs and available bursary options.
Lucy Poppleton | Wellbeing Leader
Lucy is originally from Manchester, but has called Sheffield home since studying her Masters in Psychology. She loves people, loves Jesus deeply, and wants her life to reflect His heart — especially for those who feel forgotten, powerless or on the margins.
She’s passionate about connecting people with the resources, community and support they need to flourish, and exploring the links between faith, psychology and mental wellbeing.
Outside of that, she loves dancing, all things Italian and, most importantly, a good pastry!
“As part of my new role, I am planning to help run and coordinate new wellbeing courses across the city of Sheffield, bringing together people who are on similar journeys to provide connection, support and community.
I would love to stay connected with you after the course, if you would find that helpful. I can offer signposting and potential connections with other people and services that may be useful to you.
I would also really value any feedback you have about the course. Please feel free to email me afterwards with any thoughts, reflections or suggestions you may have.
Looking ahead, we would love to be able to replicate this course in Sheffield and potentially offer further courses in the future. If you find the experience helpful and would like to support others who are on a similar journey, we would also be very happy to explore opportunities for you to volunteer on future courses.
Thank you again for your time, and especially for taking this first step to support yourself on your journey. I hope the course is a positive and encouraging experience for you.”
