The primary purpose of this complaints procedure is to provide a process for dealing with complaints relating to the behaviour of, or activities and decisions taken by, the church’s staff charity trustees, or members and congregants.
Wherever possible The Well Sheffield would prefer to follow Scriptural principles of reconciling differences. Our church values statement (www.wellsheffield.com/values) say that:
“We covenant as family together. We love each other, we forgive each other, we resolve conflict. We take personal responsibility.”
We encourage you at first to seek to resolve an issue directly with the person(s) involved when that feels safe to do so. However, on occasion attempts to resolve an issue informally may fail or may not be appropriate. A formal complaints process is available for such cases.
