What is the role of Trustees
Loving accountability: Supportive "critical friends" to ask straight questions and help the church ministers & leadership team stay healthy
Strategic governance: Keep the charity working to its vision & values (spiritually & practically). Keeping it fit for purpose to achieve goals ie. HR, finance, legalities, maintaining balance & Godly discernment
Drawing on experience for input/skills & wisdom for specific circumstances
Independent representation: Representing congregational views - staff pressure value & some HR/grievance involvement
