Monday 23rd to Saturday 28th June 2025

A week of worship & prayer, focussed around consecutive evening prayer meetings and culminating with 24 hours of non-stop worship and prayer in The Well cafe from Friday 7pm - Saturday 7pm (signup button below).

PRAYER AND WORSHIP is the primary place that we encounter God, glorify Him, are transformed more into His likeness, and begin to partner with Him to understand and fulfil His purposes for our own lives and the world around. ↖ Perhaps you agree with that in theory but find it hard to put into practice. The Furnace week of prayer is a GREAT opportunity for us to rally and journey together in this. Follow the link above to sign up for a slot in the prayer room (The Well cafe) during our non-stop 24 hours; and come and be part of the evening prayer meetings throughout the week that are detailed below. Let’s do this! Help us Lord! Have your way! Teach us how to pray!

As well as our gathered times, we encourage you to use this week as an opportunity for more intentional personal prayer however that works for you. A really simple tool you can use is the acronym P.R.A.Y…

Pause

Pause to be still; to breathe slowly; to re-centre your scattered senses upon the presence of God.

Rejoice and Reflect

Reflect on who God is, what He has done, His goodness in your life; begin to thank Him and choose to rejoice in it all.

Ask

Share your heart and your needs with Him; the needs of others around you; the needs of the wider world - Sheffield, UK, the nations….

Yield

Listen to what He is saying; ask Him how you should respond; write down anything that needs actioning or further reflection
