Launchpad was such a good experience for us, especially as a newly married couple. We had the opportunity to form a community with people we had never met before Launchpad and have been able to continue meeting up with them since.

We found it particularly useful to hear about The Well’s visions and values, as well as understand the importance of community. We would definitely recommend it to new members of the Church who want to find out more about The Well and those wanting to meet new people!

I can heartily recommend the Launchpad course if you are wanting to find out more about The Well as a church community and wanting to get to know more people.

I had enjoyed coming to services at The Well but realised that due to the size of the congregation plus the restrictions that we had been under due to lockdown it would be hard to get to feel part of The Well by just attending services. So when I saw the Launchpad advertised I hoped this would be a way to feel more part of things, which it certainly did. It was a bit daunting, at least it was for me, the first night to walk in by myself, but I was warmly welcomed and soon felt at ease.

The course is quite informal and helps you to get to know others that are new , plus some the staff and other members of the congregation. It also gives you the opportunity to find out more about the Well, their mission and vision for the future and I guess see if you feel you are on the 'same page'.

On the final session we were treated to a meal at Charlotte & Lyndon's home which was lovely and told about the different ways we could get more involved. There was no pressure whatsoever put on any of us at any part in the course but a warm welcome and encouragement, if we felt the Well is the right spiritual home for us, to be more part of the church community.
